Simply from the appearance of the motor, V1 and B5 installation motors are flanged but not grounded, but their internal structure and installation are different:
Shaft extension direction: V1 motor shaft extends downward, B5 motor shaft extends horizontally.
End cover features: V1 end cover with flange, flange with through hole, installed at the bottom by flange; B5 installation motor flange end cover with screw hole.
Bearing difference: for the small size motor, the bearing is not different, but for the large size motor, the bearing selection is different, the vertical electric machine uses the angular contact bearing.
Angular contact bearings can bear both radial and axial loads.
Can work at a higher speed.
The larger the contact angle is, the higher the axial bearing capacity is.
The contact angle is the angle between the contact point of the ball and the raceway in the radial plane and the vertical line of the bearing axis.
High-precision and high-speed bearings usually take a contact angle of 15 degrees.
Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase.
